Waitlist FAQs

Is there a separate waitlist to rent a membership?
A. No, we can only go off of one date-ordered list, and once you’re on it, you stay in that order.
Can you tell me more about what renting a membership means?
A. Members may take a year off and rent their membership through the office to waitlist families. After all open spots are sold, we then offer rentals to the next families in line on the waitlist. There is no separate list.
How many families were offered a spot this year? How far down the list do you think you’ll get for 2027?
A. We had 68 purchases plus 21 renters in 2026. We won’t know how far down the list we’ll get until May, 2027.
The waitlist is the only way that these opportunities are offered.

Each year there are a number of turnovers. First we sell those spots with members not returning.

Then we offer rentals for members who wish to return after a year away.

Once you are on the list and we get to your number, we will either offer you a purchase or a rental, depending on where we are in that season’s turnover.
